Ignited USA produced this half-hour show for Konami, which featured sneak peaks and new information on upcoming releases.

Image Flux provided graphics services in the form of an intro, segment titles, and other motion graphics during the live-action segments of the video.

Image Flux owner Aaron Kaminar directed this music video for Canadian band Lost Weekend. The video utilizes a combination of stop motion animation and CG to tell the story of a tempting but ultimately doomed romance, a theme borrowed heavily from the song’s lyrics.

The CG shots in the video made use of a Kinect sensor to capture 3-dimensional performances from the band, and the two actors playing the romantic roles.

Swarovski’s inventive new cut for topaz generates a brilliance in this natural gemstone that is significantly more intense than that of any other topaz available today. Swarovski Gems™’ ultimate mastery of precision cutting achieves 130% more brilliance and leads to more fire and scintillation.

Austrian company Mediasquad’s job was to showcase this revolutionary development by creating an appealing short film that puts the new Natural Brilliance Cut in the spotlight and shows topaz evolving from natural uncut beauty to radiant gemstone.

Image Flux owner Aaron Kaminar worked hand in hand with Mediasquad’s Creative Director Christoph Sitar, to help create a unique intro animation for the film. The work involved building and animating a custom particle system in Maya, to control the growth of the stones as they transition from rough and uncut to Swarovski’s uniquely brilliant gemstones.

This open was part of the graphics package for “The Crossover”, a talk show on NBC Sports starring Michelle Beadle and Dave Briggs. This work was done under the supervision of Cake Studios.

The time-lapse footage was shot in New York, using a Canon 5D and a Tokina 11-16mm lens. Capturing the raw frames at a high resolution allowed for simple camera moves to be added in post, without the need for a motion control time-lapse rig.

These are some clips from a point-of-sale video for Ignited USA. The headphones were created from scratch in Maya. Final compositing was done in After Effects.

Turtle Beach

These assets were created for use in promotional videos for Turtle Beach. All 3D work was done in Maya.

Working with The Family Bones, Image Flux designed, shot and did post-production for this unique music video. A mix of live action and stop frame animation, principal photography took over one month.

In it’s first week as a public video, it acquired over 80,000 hits without any marketing or PR.

The video was planned via an animatic, which was then projected on-set to guide the animation process. Watch the behind the scenes HERE.
